The Good Work Foundation
Independence ZA is
delighted to have the Good Work Foundation, under the leadership of Kate Groch, as our community-based
partner. The Good Work Foundation’s main beneficiary is the
community of the Free State town of Philippolis, where it is involved
in a number of projects ranging from bush education to HIV/AIDS
counselling and Anti-retroviral (ARV) roll-out. We finance carefully
selected projects which specifically aim to teach skills to enable
local orphaned and unemployed youth to become financially independent.

Vinny da Vinci - Our Patron
Independence ZA is extremely proud to have as our patron Vincent
Motshegoa, aka Vinny da Vinci, South African DJ, producer and
entrepreneur extraordinaire. Vinny’s rags to riches tale is as
relevant today as it was during 1980’s South Africa, with the
hardships of Apartheid substituted in the case of our beneficiaries by
the pain of HIV-AIDS. Vinny is an inspiration to all of us at IZA and
we believe his involvement will both encourage donors to engage with
our charity and stir beneficiaries to grab the opportunities which we
help present.
Don Owens - Our Accountant
Don Owens has kindly offered his expert and super-efficient
accounting services to us free of charge. D.G. Owens is a
medium sized accountancy practice based in Windsor for
business and personal clients who expect the highest level of
service. See
www.dgowens.co.uk for more information.
